GALL BLADDER: Gallbladder is a four-inch, pear-shaped organ and stores bile which helps to break down fat from food in the intestine. LAPAROSCOPIC CHOLECYSTECTOMY: Through this procedure, the gallbladder is removed. It is generally used when you have stones in your gallbladder. EXTENDED CHOLECYSTECTOMY (Cancer Gall Bladder): It involves removal of gallbladder if cancer is at a very early stage. If there’s a chance cancer may have spread beyond the gallbladder, more extensive surgery may be advised.
